Eligibility Requirements

  • Parent or grandparent must have completed a minimum of five years of honorable service, whether as a commissioned officer or enlisted, or have been honorably discharged after one enlistment

  • A statement of service or DD214 can be provided for proof, please blank out social security number or other PPI

  • The eligibility check period will be from September 1 to January 31

  • Once deem eligible you will be emailed an application checklist to start the application process below ​​

AFTER YOU ARE DECLARED ELIGIBLE THESE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP 

MEET ACADEMIC MINIMUM

  • GPA 3.0 or higher

  • SAT score of 950 or ACT score of 20 

  • Have to be accepted or enrolled to a 4 year college or university​

APPLICATION

  • Be prepared to write an essay

  • Will have to submit transcripts

  • Acceptance Letter

  • Parent or Grandparent recommendation letter

  • Teacher recommendation Letter

  • Application window runs from 1 September through March 31

  • Applications can only be accepted after you are deemed eligible 

AFTER SELECTION

  • Send proof of course enrollment for Fall and Spring

  • Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA to be eligible for spring semester scholarship portion

  • A scholarship recipient is eligible for selection twice.

  • Serve on a selection committee for scholarship award in following year
